| Notes: | Context 748 is the first context in this excavation of Room 6. It is a sloped, small deposit at the northern edge of the trench. It is considerably higher than the other surfaces left in the room. We are excavating here to define our northern scarp and remove any layers above a clay surface covering the northern portion of Room 6 - which may be a floor. Very little material came out of this context. Only a few sherds, and no bone. This first context is very near ground level. | |
