Title: | cut for grave 2015-06
Notebook: | 1109 | |
Context: | 766 | |
Date: | 2015/05/15 | |
Description: | The context shape in plan is semi-circular. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are vertical. The break at the base of the cut is gradual. The base of the cut is flat. Truncation: cut by pit __.
Notes: | This cut was obvious because of the half-skull poking out of the southern section of the large pit in the NW corner of the trench. We could see that the skull was covered by a tile and the cut on either side of it was clear in section. We decided to make the fill above and below the tile two different contexts - 759 and 762.
