| Stratum: | HP HP The sherds listed here all bear the pencil mark 'HP''. This is not directly referred to in the notebook, but it seems a fairly safe assumption that this refers to the 'House of Pithoi'at Zygouries. Since the sherds in question are all Late Bronze Age in date, they clearly are not from the Early Helladic floor deposit in this building, and likely come from the upper fill layers, although more precise contextual information is lacking. Since Blegen clearly conceived of this material as a group, it seemed worth recording this. | |
