Description:   Screen from templum with fascia at bottom H00.075, narrow tipped fascia H00.02, 3rd fascia H00.05; plain field H00.59, crowned by same progression of mouldings, same size except for top fascia H00.08 m. Field, side A: covered with elaborate pattern of tangent double semi-circles: one set of semi-circles upright, one upside down, and two sets turned sideways to touch in center. In center of each is a 3-petal lotus with broad groove down center of each petal; in angles at bottom and top of field are similar but smaller lotus buds. Side B: large circle in low relief, D00.59, in center of which a large cross outlined; cross has unequal arms, flaring tips, extends from bottom to top of field. Whole slab worked with flat chisel; coarse point on bottom edge, point covered by flat chisel on top edge.
Material:   Coarse-crystalled white marble with vertical foliation.
Condition:   Complete profile. Several joining frgts., giving bottom, top and both faces; broken to right and left. May 29, 2000: broken by Greek school child, now 6 large frgts., numerous small chips.
