Description:   Thick rectangular slab with flat bottom and top, sides cut back 00.014 from bottom to H00.041. Front and back surfaces vertical. In top surface half a hook clamp L00.068 at either end. Bottom and sides worked with flat and possibly fine claw. Back roughly picked with narrow relieving band W00.016 along side edges. Front carved in shallow relief within a flat frame W00.03 (bottom), W00.016 (sides) W00.034 (top). Floral chain consisting of row of palmettes, beginning and ending with half palmette. Palmettes have 9 petals, central one tall and pointed, with double outline; remaining 8 petals alternately curl up on one palmette, curl down on next; topmost petals longest, bottom ones short, dart-shaped heart. Half-palmettes have spikey flaring petals.
Material:   Fine-crystal white marble.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact. Face covered with lime incrustation
