Description:   Corinthian capital: from left or back face of corner volute: at bottom part of 2nd ring of acanthus leaf, pointed leafed with long triangular eyes between petals; leaf folds over at top. Behind and resting on it is long volute with a squared projecting rib on outer face, spiraling outward in three rotations. Tooling: flat chisel and point, no drill. Broken from 2nd capital from east end, south side, of Temple E.
Material:   Moderately coarse-crystal striated white marble with laminating fractures.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., broken by tourist from capital: upper corner acanthus leaf and volute. Part of same corner volute as A 1079A, this being back face.
