Description: | Corinthian capital: from left or back face of corner volute: at bottom part of 2nd ring of acanthus leaf, pointed leafed with long triangular eyes between petals; leaf folds over at top. Behind and resting on it is long volute with a squared projecting rib on outer face, spiraling outward in three rotations. Tooling: flat chisel and point, no drill. Broken from 2nd capital from east end, south side, of Temple E. | |
