Description:   Left half of face (rondel); lt. eye, lt. half of nose, closed mouth, lt. large satyr ear and lt. horn above brow, hair modelled in waves, large eye with thick upper and lower lids. Remains of raised bands project from lower ft and center of face. H. of face: 0.14. Material:   Fine-grained white marble.
Condition:   Fragment. Broken on three sides; anathyrosis on top edge; back roughly picked.

Period:   Middle Roman (2/2 2nd c-4th c AD)
Findspot Description:   Found in wooden tray in sculpture apotheke marked "Shear Basement, coffer and fruit friezes" with A 1081-1095, frgt joining S 957, S 3651-3656; inventoried by A. Ajootian, July 2007. A 1080-1091 probably from Athena Trench.
