Description:   Upper lt. quarter of face preserves lt. eye with iris incised, thick lids, part of nose. Hair grows up in coarse strands from central part. On lower edge, behind now missing right eye, cutting for dowel (0.35 deep, 0.025 W.). This fragment pertains to a panel with anathyrosis across its lower edge, but this is now broken away. Raised bands project from upper left and center of face. Findspot Description:   Found in wooden tray in sculpture apotheke marked "Shear Basement, coffer and fruit friezes" with A 1080, 1082-1095, frgt joining S 957, S 3651-3656; inventoried by A. Ajootian, July 2007. A 1080-1091 probably from Athena Trench.
