Description:   Revetment consisting of part of a large Ionic capital: fragment from the echnus; at bottom, somewhat battered bead and reel. Narrow fillet, above which band with egg and dart: one pointed egg, dart, start of second egg at left; at right 4 petals of corner palmette, with tips curling upwards, the 4th overlapping the first egg. To right, edge of volute, surface recessed below that of echinus. Back roughly picked and covered with a black substance. Bottom, trimmed flat as far as edge of volute. Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving right half of echinus, Ionic Capital; finished bottom, back, broken remaining edges; part of back surface broken at upper rt.
