Description:   Large section of flat plaster from wall.
Decoration:   Upper torso and left wing of flying Nike are preserved on a yellow ochre background. Nike is upright with wings extended, torso turned slightly to proper lt, head 3/4 rt. Rt.upper arm is up and away from body, probably carrying an attribute of victory. Lt. arm is partially extended away from body with schematic palm branch in lt. hand. Small splotches of dark green and lime paint between rt.shoulder and head give evidence of rt. wing, lt. wing extended. Traces of a laurel crown above reddish brown hair; dark brown eyes focus to proper rt., a small dot of bright red for her mouth. Series of red dots around base of neck from a necklace (?). She wears a girt purple peplos; folds are highlighted with dashes of pink and violet paint. It breaks off 00.007 m. below her waist. A lime green mantle, defined by white and dark green paint, wraps around lt. shoulder, circles waist and lt. arm, from which it hangs down, and falls from rt. side slightly below her waist. Left wing rendered in greens similar to those of mantle; its underside painted with wisps of dark green, defined by dashes of white and lime. Lt. arm best preserves flesh tones; it is outlined with strokes of dark maroon which gradually blend into a pinkish neutral flesh color.

Material:   White plaster 3-4 cm.thick in 3 coats: first, a layer of fine arriccio made up of small sand particles and pebbles; Above this a fine layer of plaster with no visible inclusions. The third layer is the colored plaster.
Condition:   Fragment. Many joining frgts., giving figure from head to hips, right upper arm, left arm, left wing, start of right; head poorly preserved.
