Description:   Limestone column; cylindrical in form, flat on both ends, long sides are carved with eight broad facets resulting in an octagonal section. No traces of attachment or dowel holes; presumably freestanding. As Geometric tomb marker, unpublished parallels from the Proastiakos excavations and uninventoried from the Sacred Spring area.
Material:   Pale gray limestone
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact, but for a few chips on one end. Pocked surface.
