Description:   Corinthian pilaster capital in low relief on front with smooth background. Unfluted cauliculus (missing but for top) crowned by two acanthus leaves curling to either side. Tip of left acanthus leaf touches tip of the next right one in center of capital above spiral stem. Above each acanthus leaf linear tendrils slant upwards to either side and end in flat volutes that touch their couterpart in center above spiral stem. Between linear tendrils, a lily. Four-petal rosette at top, in front of abacus, which is outlined by a narrow fascia. Roughly picked back side. Hole on top edge above rosette. Cf. A-1043; A-1990-4; Corinth 10, p. 102, fig. 88.

Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving upper right corner, top edge and back side, broken on all other sides, missing lower right corner and most of left half.
