Description: | Large kylix of which shoulder and offset of rim are preserved. Apparently flaring body rose to quickly curving, slightly inturning shoulder, vertical rim. | |
Decoration: | Body unglazed with brown almost-matt decoration in zones. Shoulder zone has two horizontal lines at bottom with trace of decoration in band below. Above birds one horizontal line, covering angle to rim. Rim in black, overpainted in purple. Instide brown monochrome, pocked and flaked badly. | |
Material: | Good cream-buff clay, very few inclusions with pocking from lime. | |
Munsell Color: | 7.5YR 8/4 or slightly darker. | |
Condition: | Fragment. Preserves upper shoulder, base of rim, single sherd. | |
