Description:   Plate with flaring ring foot with thick resting surface. Shallow, straight flaring body, round to flattened oblique lip.
Decoration:   Sgraffito decoration on interior: central medallion of formalized bird to rt.; hooked beak, dashes on neck, belly to tail; scribbled covert feathers, parallel lines for flight feathers. In field running spiral palmettes; on upper body, broad band of running slip-palmettes between double framing lines. Lip plain. White slip. Pale greenish-yellow glaze on interior and overlapping lip.
Material:   Fine reddish clay.
Condition:   Complete profile. Many joining frgts., complete profile. Complete except for five small holes in lip, one near floor.
