Description:   Small flase ring foot, flaring sides with slight curve insward at lip. 7 grooves on lower part of side, 2 around center of outside. Zones of design on interior set off by grooves incised through black glaze (red wash in grooves). All design incised except center design. Central medallion shows two kissing figures in high relief. Around, band of running spirals, second zone of birds, wreaths and bucrania; outer zone of panels of cross-hatching and crossed rectangle.

Condition:   Complete or intact. Three frgts., mended.

Findspot Description:   From a well "of the Megarians". Note: G. Kachros states that well was in village of Saltas near Megara (G.R. Edwards, Feb 1962). December 8, 1930.
