Description:   Mortar with flat base, widely flaring concave body, outward thickened rim, undercut, convex and slightly inward tapering, round lip. Two horizontal spool handles placed on rim; at right angles to them a spout. Floor of mortar gritty to ca. 0.02 m. below lip.
Material:   Coarse yellow-buff clay with dense amount of fine to coarser black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Between 10YR 8/3 and 2.5Y 8/3
Condition:   Complete profile. Eight joining frgts., complete profile; ca. 1/2 bottom, 7/8 body and rim; most of two handles, spout restored.
