Description:   Lid with low convex profile, flattened in center around base of missing knob. Shallow vertical flange on underside, set in 00.007 m. from rim.
Decoration:   Interior reserved. Exterior decorated with bands of brown-black glaze: edge of rim reserved, narrow black band, broad black band on which multiple lines in added white, purple; narrow black band, reserved zone around missing handle, with glazed rays, tips out. For probable bowl see C-1931-572.
Material:   Very fine, hard-fired clay fired pink at core, buff at surface with rare tiny white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface, near 7.5YR 7/3 ; core, slightly redder than 5YR 6/6
Condition:   Missing parts. 22 joining frgts., complete profile except for knob; half circumference with holes; non-joining frgts. in box.
