Description:   Chalice with tall rim with compound profile: narrow concave band joining body to rim, tall element with convex to vertical profile, articulted by narrow fillet from horizontal outturned element with vertical lip, triangular in section. On interior from bottom up, broad concave moulding articulated from body and rest of rim and bottom and top, convex moulding, narrow concave band on interior of vertical lip.
Decoration:   Groove on exterior of lip. Red slip over all.
Material:   Fine, well-compacted light red clay with smooth fracture.
Munsell Color:   Clay: 5YR 6/6 Slip: 2.5YR 4/8
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., rim, ca. 1/8 circumference.
