Description:   Small cup with flaring ring foot, flat resting surface, flat undersurface; shallow echinoid body, tapered vertical lip, one preserved horizontal loop handle attached below lip.
Decoration:   Decorated in matt red paint as follows: exterior of foot, red, 2 concentric rings and solid center on undersurface. Body: thin line just above foot, 2 broad bands on body below handle; in handle zone wavy band, red line on lip; interior: 2 concentric circles on floor, 2 higher up but below median, one broad band below lip; dots on handle.
Material:   Fine pale pinkish buff clay with frequent fine voids.
Munsell Color:   Slightly pinker than 10YR 7/4 to near 7.5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Six joining frgts., complete foot, half of body to lip, one handle. Part of lip blackened.
