Description:   Cup with flaring ring foot, hemispherical body, strap handle. Similar to C-1934-314 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 113).
Decoration:   Yellow glaze on interior slightly worn out, impressed central medallion with cross inside barred border. No glaze on exterior.
Material:   Coarse pinkish white clay, white at surface, with frequent medium red and small gray inclusions. Common small to large tabular and platy subrounded voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 8/2 (pinkish white)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving 2/3 of foot and less than half of body, start of handle.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
Chronology:   9th-11th century, based Morgan 1942, Corinth 11.
