Description:   Plate with flaring ring foot, flat resting and undersurfaces. Body rising at ca. 35 degrees. Similar to C-1935-510.
Decoration:   Light slip-painted central medallion with formalized head and neck of bird to rt. with borders of simplified guilloche (1 narrow, 1 wide), start of wide rinceau. Glaze over all, light yellow-green on interior, green on exterior. Accoriding to Morgan, possible same hand as C-1933-689.
Material:   Moderately fine clay fired gray at core, red at edges with tiny white inclusions, rare voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 5/6 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving ca. 1/2 foot, lower body.
