Description:   Cup with flaring ring foot, vertical short stem, convex body and strap handle attached to base of body. Similar to C-1934-561.
Decoration:   Mottled green glaze over all exterior. Patches of glaze on resting surface and interior of foot. Groove on upper side of body above handles.
Material:   Very pale brown clay with few small to medium subrounded spherical and tabular gray inclusions, and rare small red rounded and angular inclusions. Frequent angular platy and subrounded spherical voids.
Munsell Color:   10 YR 7/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving complete foot, part of lower body, and beginning of handle.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
