Description:   Bowl with nearly horiztonal body, curving up vertically to tapered rounded lip. Similar to C-1933-756.
Decoration:   White slip on interior and over lip. Interior: dark slip-painted arcs, arranged in close-set rings. Stripe on lip. Yellow-green glaze inside, going brown on exterior.
Material:   Moderately fine light brown clay, fired to gray at edges, with rare white inclusions and rare fine angular voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 6/4 (light brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving body, lip.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
Chronology:   at least Alexius I (1081-1118), based on context
