Description:   Plate with flaring ring foot and flat undersurface. Flaring, convex lower body. Free-style, incised sgraffito bowl
Decoration:   White slip on all vessel, thicker on inner surface. Free-style, incised-sgraffito decoration according to Morgan's classification. In centre, incised lion's head, facing right, with open mouth and long protruding, incised, tongue. Yellow glaze on inner surface.
Material:   Fine, hard fabric, yellowish-red in colour, with few (0.25-0.5 mm) white-opaque, angular -spherical inclusions and rare (0.25-0.50 mm) rounded-spherical, black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5YR 5/6 (yellowish red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt preserves two-thirds of foot and one-twentieth of body, missing rim. Single mending hole preserved at centre of base.
