Description:   Plate with low vertical foot, rounded resting surface and flat undersurface, nearly flat horizontal body.
Decoration:   Slip and pale yellow glaze on interior. Four large diamonds radiating from central small circle, filled with scale pattern; pendent half circles between diamonds. Similar to C-1935-537 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 641).
Material:   Pink clay with rare small and medium subrounded spherical and tabular gray inclusions, and few small and medium angular platy and tabular and rounded spherical voids.
Munsell Color:   Near 7.5YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Three joining frgts., preserving approx. 1/4 of foot and lower body.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
