Description:   Trefoil pitcher with flat base, ovoid body, wide tall conical neck, offset outward-flaring rim, pinched to trefoil, rounded lip. Vertical strap handle attached to upper body and base of rim. As C 1987 3.
Decoration:   Wheel-ridging on body from base to shoulder. Three complete and one incomplete hastily executed spirals around body at shoulder level, band on lip, diagonal stripes on handle. Wavy incised groove on shoulder all around even on area underneath handle.
Material:   Coarse very pale brown clay, fired reddish yellow at core, with common large to very large rounded spherical white lime, frequent medium to very large spherical angular mudstone and sub-rounded spherical grog, few medium sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 10YR 8/4 (very pale brown), Core: 7.5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete profile. Nine joining frgts., preserving almost whole vessel, except for two small parts missing from rim. Paint well-preserved on handle and two of the spirals, in the other two paint worn off.
