Description:   Italian Sigillata plate Conspectus form 3.2 with flaring ring foot, carinated body with flaring wall, and rolled rim. Similar to C-1964-479 (Slane 1990, Corinth 18.2, cat. 76), C-1934-176.
Decoration:   Red (10R 4/6) slip on interior and exterior. Large groove on interior where wall meets floor. Two grooves on floor. Stamp in center. Exterior surface has scratches.
Writing:   stamp. Stamp in planta pedis: OPROCI. Deeply pressed and clear. Graffito of large X on bottom. Similar to C-1934-176.
Material:   Fine light reddish brown fabric with rare small round voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 6/4 (light reddish brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Ten joining frgts., preserving 1/2 rim, entire base. Slip well-preserved on interior and exterior. Stamp in excellent condition.
