Description:   ESB basin with false ring foot, slightly flaring convex wall, and horizontal rim. Similar to C-1973-403 (Slane 1990, Corinth 18.2, cat. 99).
Decoration:   Red (10R 4/6) slip on interior and exterior, with black specks from misfiring and burn mark on rim. Two wide grooves below the rim on exterior, cluster of five narrower grooves on wall. Groove on interior below rim.
Material:   Fine light reddish brown micaceous clay with rare small rounded voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6 (light reddish brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. 10+3 joining frgts., preserving complete profile, 1/2 rim. Slip flaking on interior and exterior.
Period:   2nd c. A.C.
Chronology:   Mid 2nd c. CE, base on comparanda in Corinth 18.2
