Description:   Italian Sigillata plate Conspectus form 3.2 with flaring ring foot, carinated body with flaring wall, and rolled rim. Similar to C-1964-479 (Slane 1990, Corinth 18.2, cat. 76).
Decoration:   Red (10R 4/6) slip on interior and exterior. Large groove on interior where wall meets floor. Two grooves on floor. Stamp slightly off-center. Exterior surface has scratches.
Writing:   graffito and stamp. Stamp in planta pedis: OPROC. Deeply pressed and clear. Graffito of large X on bottom.
Material:   Fine light reddish brown fabric with few large white angular inclusions and rare small round voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 6/4 (light reddish brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Ten joining frgts., preserving complete profile, 1/3 rim, 2/3 base.
Period:   2nd c. A.C.
Chronology:   Mid 2nd c. CE, based on comparanda in Corinth 18.2
