Description:   Oinochoe with flaring disk foot with concave undersurface, globular body with max. diam. at H00.09, curving up without articulation into wide neck; slight deformation at shoulder and base of neck. Note: original inventory mentions stump of vertical handle, but handle does not belong.
Decoration:   Exterior completely reserved; ca. 0.05 from bottom a matt brown circumference band defining figured zone, which extends up to shoulder without framing borders on top or sides. Drawn in outline style in fine brown line: 2 men runing to rt. At lt., youth with head in profile to rt., torso 3/4 rt. , buttocks and legs in profile with lt. leg raised off ground; rt. arm back, holding oinochoe with high-swung handle, of which only neck-rim and handle preserved; lt. arm raised, partly covering head of 2nd figure. Curly short brown hair in which individual strands not shown, poss. curly forelocks on cheek; wears purple fillet, outlined in black, with long rounded end from which hand 3 wavy strands; nude with cloak hanging in soft folds from raised left arm. 2nd figure: have back of head and traces of beard below chin; runs with lt. arm extended, supporting cloak, and holding kantharos with high-swung handles, with row of purple dots below lip; in lowered rt. hand, which is largely covered by cloak of youth, a torch pointed slightly downwards with wispy purple flames. Interior red.
Material:   Fine pale pinkish-buff clay, well compacted, with rare fine tabular voids, several coarser voids.

Condition:   Missing parts. Numerous joining frgts., preserving ca. 2/5 foot, ca. 1/3 lower body, nearly half body at max. diam. and shoulder, small part of base of neck; non-joining frgts. returned to context pottery.
