Description:   Cup with flaring foot, flat undersurface, straight flaring lower body curving up to slightly convex walls. Two strap handles attached to lower body. Similar to C-1937-727 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 187).
Decoration:   Yellow glaze on interior and patches of yellow glaze on exterior of body and underside of foot.
Material:   White clay, pinkish at surface, with small rare round red and gray inclusions, and few small to medium angular and subrounded voids.
Munsell Color:   5Y 8/1 (white)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving foot, small part of body, and start of two handles.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
