The interior of the dish is filled with floral and vegetal motifs in emerald green, coral red, black and cobalt blue on a white slip background. The central motif is a backwards S curved leaf, with a green serrated mid-rib bordered by a blue outer edge, dotted with red. These motifs are composed of a raised red paste covered with a white slip. To the left of the leaf is a multi-petaled flower in red with a green center. To the right, a tulip in blue with red dots and a red base, with green leaves with red hearts in background. The rim, outlined by two thin blue lines, is decorated with black spiral motifs circled in blue. These are closely grouped or scattered on a white field in groups of three or four, some green filling. On exterior of body are alternating green rosettes with blue centers and a double tulip motif in blue. Both are outlined in black. Cf. Iznik Tile Kiln Excavations, 1989, p.216, inventory no.
