Description:   ESA deep, convex bowl with low false ring foot and steep sides. Hayes Form 5B (Hayes 1986, p. 17, Tavola II, 2). Also, see: Antioch Type 151 (Waage 1942, Antioch on the Orontes IV, Ceramics and Islamic Coins), and Tel Anafa Type 14a (Slane 1997, Tel Anafa II, i: The Fine Wares, p. 298, Pl. 13, FW 131, TA Type 14a, Late 1st c. BC and early 1st c. CE).
Decoration:   Dull red slip on interior and exterior. Two rouletted circles on base floor.
Material:   Fine, hard, very clean, pink fabric with rare, fine, angular voids, and granular to conchoidal breaks.
Munsell Color:   Fabric: 7.5YR 7/4 (pink), Surface (slip): 10R 4/6 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving one-third of base and small portion of vessel wall. Interior surface chipped away on two sides of vessel floor, with some pitting and abrated loss of slip from both interior and exterior surfaces and on resting surface of foot.
