Description:   Flat fragment of part of floor.
Decoration:   Red slip on interior. Slight wheel-ridged circular pattern with two main grooves touches stamp. Stamped design consists of one lozenge inside the other, with dots surrounding and dot in center.
Hayes notes this decoration is a Type 98, coarse variant (Style A); similar to Hayes 1972, Fig. 44g.
Material:   coarse red clay with few small white and gray inclusions
Munsell Color:   2.5 YR 6/4 (light reddish brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving portion of floor of vessel (plate?); broken on all sides. Slip on interior, mostly well-preserved.
