Description:   Bowl fragment with horizontal flat base, curves slightly upward into vertical body. Interior curves slightly into flat base.
Decoration:   Thin dull orange slip. Base moulding consists of two grooves. Two scenes on body, divided by a tree. On left, mostly preserved, Figure in a cart or chariot moving to the left. Cart is drawn by a goat (?), which the figure reaches down toward while holding an object in left hand (thyrsos?). On the back of the cart, another figure stands facing right and wearing a peaked headdress. Above, curling branches of the tree. On right, poorly preserved, the lower leg of one figure (probably a satyr carrying off a maenad). After Spitzer's Type III, Fig. 16 a, m.
Material:   slightly micaceous clay with frequent small gray and black inclusions
Munsell Color:   5 YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving portion of base and body. Slip is well-worn, especially on exterior.
