Description:   Jug with flat bottom, ovoid body with max diam. below median, flaring neck, strap handle.
Decoration:   Red-brown glaze on exterior, patches of glaze on lower body, undersurface reserved. Single grooved line above mx diam., offsetting upper body. Similar to C-1935-5.
Material:   Coarse light red clay small to large subrounded spherical and tabular frequent white and rare gray inclusions. Few small angular platy voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 6/8 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving approx. 1/2 vessel (from bottom to mid-shoulder?), start of handle.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
