Description:   Plate with very shallow flaring body turning up slightly to oblique rounded lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On floor: parts of 3 warriors: hosed feet and leg of one at lt., spirals between legs; all but head, rt. arm, shoulder of 2nd standing 3/4 lt. wearing chain mail and skirt with lappets, hose; lower half of third, 3/4 rt. wearing long skirt with heavily incised cross-bands and thinner vertical stripes. Spiral motifs in field. Yellow glaze on interior and overlapping lip.
Material:   Fine reddish-tan clay with moderate amount of tiny white inclusions, long voids.
Munsell Color:   Redder than 5YR 5/6
Condition:   Fragment. Originally single frgt., from upper body to lip, ca. 1/8 circumference; add. join, gives a small addition to body.
