Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, round resting surface, flat undersurface. Convex flaring body rising at ca. 30 degrees to oblique, round lip.
Decoration:   White slip on interior and over lip. On floor, large eagle to rt., of which have beak, part of head, breast, part of wing, legs. Scaley breast, straight flight feathers, long claws. In field, ring of double chevrons. Outer border of debased rinceau between double framing lines. Pale yellow glaze over slip.
Material:   Moderately coarse clay with numerous tiny voids, some red, white inclusions, scattered coarse voids, fired buff to pinkish buff.

Condition:   Complete profile. Five joining frgts., complete profile; half foot, ca. 1/16 body to lip.
