| Description: | Bowl with vertical ring foot, flat resting surface and flat undersurface. Deep echinoid body, turning up vertically to inward and outward thickened rim, flat on top. Suspension hole drilled through foot with several tries to either side. | |
| Decoration: | White slip on interior and overlapping exterior of rim. Interior painted with brown slip: large bird to lt. with long bill, dotted circle for eye, long neck decorated with rows of dots, rt. wing down and filled with dots, zigzags and fringed; lt. wing extended, filled with rows of dots alternating with spirals. Elaborate floral sprays extending from wings, with large flower beneath one. Groups of bars on rim. No final glaze. | |
