Description: | Plate with vertical ring foot, carelessly trimmed to make chamfered edge, broad flat resting surface, nippled undersurface. Wide-flaring shallow body with compound curve, convex to straight flaring, ending in oblique round lip, offset from interior by groove. Lower body pared but not smoothed. | |
Decoration: | White slip on interior and overlapping lip. Incised on interior: loop on floor, 2 circumference grooves half way up, pair just below lip. Pitted mustard yellow glaze on interior and running over lip, with white showing through. | |
Material: | Moderately coarse buff-tan clay with moderate admixture of coarser white, many tiny black, white inclusions, voids. | |
