Description:   Local thin-walled ware mug with disk foot, ovoid/globular body, inward flanged rim, and single strap handle. Similar to C-37-2375, C-37-2418, C-37-2390.
Decoration:   Color change on exterior where other vessel rested above during firing. Thin groove on upper half of body. Groove on lower half may be from stacking in kiln. Thick groove around exterior of rim. Groove on handle.
Material:   Pale brown fabric fired dark gray with small and large white and gray angular inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 6/3 (pale brown) to 10YR 4/1 (dark gray)
Condition:   Complete profile. Many joining frgts., preserving complete profile, entire base, 3/4 rim, handle.
Period:   1 st c. A.C.
Chronology:   third quarter 1st c. CE, based on Corinth 18.2
