Description:   Bowl with nearly hemispherical body - upper portion more straight flaring than rounded, to evertedtapered lip. Groove sets off lip on interior.
Decoration:   White slip on interior and over upper third of exterior. In brown paint, edge of medallion on floor, 2 circumference rings. On upper body, broad band of Kufic and spiral between double framing lines. Clear glaze oveer all.
Material:   Moderately fine tan clay to light red at surface, with scattered fine black inclusions, voids.
Munsell Color:   Near 5YR 6.8/3 to near 2.5YR 6/6
Condition:   Fragment. Five joining frgts., full profile from above foot to lip, ca. 1/3 circumference.
