Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, flat resting and undersurface. Shallow wide-flaring bowl rising at ca. 15 degrees to oblique round lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On floor, sgraffito bird to rt., with narrow long head, round eye, long scales on neck, breast, horizontal feathers on wings, tail. Surrounded by double chevrons; whole angularly drawn. Clear to pale yellow glaze on interior and over lip.
Material:   Fine tan clay (breaks all covered)

Condition:   Complete profile. Six joining frgts., complete profile, 4/5 foot, ca. half body to lip.
