Description:   Plate with low base ring, flat undersurface to slightly concave in center. Body extends nearly horizontally, tall vertical rim, H00.030, with tapered lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all. Interior, sgraffito bird to rt. with tilted head, long beak, eye composed of an upper arc and lower wavy line, scaley breast, coarsely incised lines for wings, tail and upper legs. Surrounded by ring of triple chevrons. Clear to very pale yelwlow glaze on interior.
Material:   Fine light red clay with scattered fine lime, black and sparkling inclusions.

Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact except for chips in rim.
