Description:   Unevenly thrown bowl with low flaring ring foot, flat resting and undersurface. Deep flaring body with slight convex profile with max. diam. at oblique tapered lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all. Sgraffito dec. on interior: central medallion with split-leaf palmette on imbricate ground, 2 framing lines. Border of curved lines; on upper body band of decadent rinceau. Light yellow glaze on interior.
Material:   Fine reddish-tan clay with frequent pores, scattered small white, red inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Nine joining frgts., complete except for a few frgts. missing from floor, body and lip. Glaze partly worn away.
