Description:   Fruitstand with high vertical ring foot, flaring above flat resting surface; turning marks on exterior. Convex undersurface. Start of wide flaring body.
Decoration:   Impressed decoration on floor: central medallion with eagle, head to lt., wings open; surrounded by band of bars; on body, possibly row of medallions of which only bases preserved. Broad stripe of red underpaint cutting through axis of plate. Yellow glaze on interior; drips on foot, undersurface.
Material:   Hard-fired well-compacted white clay with numerous tiny black inclusions; surface fired pale pinkish buff.
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., 9/10 foot and floor; edge of foot heavily chipped.
