Description:   Plate with scar of ring foot. Shallow wide-flaring body with wobbly profile, inward thickened squared rim.
Decoration:   Pale slip inside and over lip. Coarsely incised inside: chest and forelegs of animal galloping rt., hind-quarters of hare (?) to rt., petal fillilng ornament. Outer circumference groove. Pale yellow glaze inside. Morgan: pres. same plate asC-1937-1411 C-1937-1413.
Material:   Moderately fine clay fired buff at surface, rose at core with numerous tiny sparkling, fine black inclusions, voids.
Munsell Color:   Slightly pinker than 10YR 7/3
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., body to rim, small part of whole; two chips in rim.
