Description:   Cup with vertical ring foot, tapered resting surface, and flat undersurface; deep convex body, turning up vertically, ending in a slightly outturned tapered lip. Cf. Iznik Tile Kiln Excavations, 1989, pp. 86, 114.
Decoration:   Blue and White; Interior: Central medallion delineated by two thin blue lnies with a floral motif in the center. Around the body, two preserved floral motifs with remains at the break of two more of the same motifs, evenly spaced. The motifs are composed of a round blue flower with a white center and three trifoliate sprigs radiating around the flower. Below the lip, a narrow band decorated with alternating strips of a basket weave design and other geometric design. Exterior plain. On underside of foot, a black calligraphic design.

Condition:   Complete profile. Two frgts., preserving complete foot, 3/5 of body and lip.
