Description:   Bowl with fine small flaring ring foot, resting surface irregularly trimmed, flat undersurface raised slightly from base of foot. Deep body rising at ca. 50 degrees with slight convex profile to tapered lip.
Decoration:   White slip on interior and over lip. Sgraffito dec. on interior: tondo with compass point, with heart-shaped leaf and stem, 2 chevron bands to either side, on imbricate ground, 2 circumference lines; on lower body, row of scribbled concentric arcs; same on upper body. Clear to pale yellow glaze on interior.
Material:   Fine brown clay with tiny black, white inclusions, scattered coarse white and voids.
Munsell Color:   Slightly yellower than 5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Four joining and two (joining) non-joining frgts., complete profile. Complete foot, 1/4 body to lip + 1/8 more. Lip chipped. RIP with C-1937-1433B
